OUR BACKGROUND
The name Shaded Family was thought of with the goal of providing families
with much needed shade from all the difficulties life throws at them.
Our aim is to impact, assist and help people towards achieving
positive, sustainable, self-reliance. Guiding people to a more impactful
reassurance of one's self in order to not lose hope and to grow towards
a positive self-confidence, to claim their place in life through
information, empowerment, skills development and providing the necessary
resources and mentorship.
Shaded Family is a newly established Non-Profit Organization (NPO) and
Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in June 2023.
We are based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. Shaded Family
is not a faith based organization, but embodies the belief of assistance
to humanity and the understanding of growing people out of destitution,
and teaching people to pass on that knowledge. Like a tree grows
branch by branch, leaf by leaf, providing shade to more people as it grows.
OUR VISION
An integrated society where social and economic change is achieved through appropriate application and is built around creating social cohesion through awareness.
OUR WORK
We cover a vast field of work, ranging from business and youth development programs, to social outreach, upliftment and charity programs.
